We share the common interests with the NSF funded center, Research andEducation in Active Coatings Technologies (REACT), a Partnership for International Research and Education (PIRE), to address the global crisis of water shortage. Center participants are key players in REACT/ACT1, aiming to create coatings that capture water, via condensation or trapping of droplets, divert, recover, and purify water via filtration or anti-biofouling.
